Alinea Investments, LLC is a New York Investment Advisor. Alinea, derived from the Latin a linea, literally translates to "off the line". For us, Alinea stands for a new way of thinking and that is the very foundation of our Investment Management and Financial Planning philosophies.

The founders of Alinea Investments, LLC, Tim D. Carpenter and Ian T. Gray met in July of 2007 while working together at a large asset management firm. The concept of Alinea Investments, LLC was borne by the financial advice that friends and family often sought and the realization that there were many questions and aspects that traditional Wall Street advice and investment management did not seem to address adequately, and at times even incorrectly.

At Alinea, our mission is to provide customized investment planning, advice, and management at a great value, within a structure that seeks to eliminate conflicts of interest between advisor and client.
